Art is a tool for communicating and exploring; it is a medium through which we perceive. Artists and viewers are both necessary and active participants in the phenomenon of art.  I am both a creator and a viewer of my own work.

The Paula Lalala MVSEVM is a collection of artifacts an objects placed inside of a physical structure (the building) located within a specific geographical region (Cornwallville, NY), but it is also a lens through which I examine and explore my personal experience of life.

The physical MVSEVM is an immersive sensory experience. The conceptual MVSEVM is  the line I draw around something to render it separate from life.  Drawing the line between life and art is part of my artistic practice.
